Aims & Objectives:

Being one of the students' extracurricular activities, English Society aims chiefly at:

• Involving students in the kinds of activities that are likely to build their personal skills through letting them to present themselves in the events and activities they like to do; instead of the ones they have to do,
• Training students on the leadership skills through giving them the chance to plan, work out, and realize their goals through the different events,
• Boosting students' creativity through widening their prospective and supporting them technically and financially,
• Building up a good level of English language competence through the continuous use of the language in all the Society's work,
• Developing students' interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills
• Helping students adding more supportive achievements to their CVs for their future careers.

Mission of the society

This society with its different committees aims to encourage students to use English outside classroom boundaries. The different activities that are held attempt to build students’ creativity, self-esteem and confidence. This society tends as well to bridge the gap between the reasons behind using the language and the real context in which the language can be applied. It also seeks to help students show their potential talents using English a medium of communication. For this mission to be fulfilled there has to be a great effort to be given from both the students and the staff teaching members
